Stockyard Tuesdays
Episode IV of Fall Creek History

Written by Karen and David Hurd

Stockyard Tuesdays is based on the life of Douglas E. Raether, a life-long resident of Fall Creek.  A cattleman and farmer, Doug Raether helped build our community through his generosity, but more importantly through his kindness.  Doug’s ethic of hard work is tempered with a subtle sense of humor.  Doug Raether's life was a blessing to Fall Creek, and the events that shaped him and the town are portrayed in this musical-drama.

"A man can do nothing better than. . .to find satifaction in his work. This is from the hand of God, for without Him, who can find enjoyment? To the man who pleases Him, God gives wisdom, knowledge, and happiness." - Ecclesiates 2:24b-26a

The proceeds from the production of Stockyard Tuesdays benefited the Fall Creek Historical Society.
