The Mysterious Robbery
Episode III of Fall Creek History

Mystery, fun, and sober truth are combined in the drama that is the third historically-based musical to be produced about the community of Fall Creek. Writer and director Karen Hurd has researched the events, told the story in drama form, and composed nine original songs to illuminate an intriguing event that occurred in Fall Creek during the prohibition and depression era.

The stock market had crashed, plummeting the country into financial despair. Hobos wander the country looking for work. Gangster traffic has increased, fueled by the Prohibition Amendment. These events impacted the family of Irving and Louise Melville, proprietors of the Melville Watch Hospital, a watch and jewelry shop. The Melville’s daily lives are interrupted with a strange and dangerous incident!

Performance Rights and VHS tapes have been made available for this production through Scene and Hurd Productions. For information about purchasing the performance rights, to view a script sample, or to order a VHS tape, please Contact Us.
